One of the things that made Christ’s ministry so powerful is that he loved people. He touched the untouchable and spent time with both the rich and the poor. We strive to follow the example of Jesus and love others without prejudice and judgment. Just unadulterated, genuine love.
God’s Word is full of rich and life changing truths. We believe that the answers to life’s questions can be found by studying and applying the wisdom and knowledge that we gain from the Bible. As a church, we will learn through Sunday services, small group Bible studies, one on one discipleship, and personal accountability among friends.
A personal walk with Christ should overflow into daily life. We help people discover their gifts and serve through the local church.
Our mission is, Come and See Jesus and Go and Tell Jesus – and our three pillars are what uphold that mission and keep us on track.
We keep it simple: the Bible is our guide, Jesus is our hope, and we want to live it out in everyday life.
We believe the Bible is God’s Word—true, trustworthy, and our final authority for what we believe and how we live.
We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus is the eternal Son of God—fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died for our sins, rose again, and is the only way of salvation.
We believe the Holy Spirit is God and works personally in people’s lives—leading, convicting, comforting, and empowering believers to follow Jesus.
We believe all people are created in God’s image but have been affected by sin. Sin separates us from God and leaves us in need of rescue.
We believe Jesus’ death was a substitute for us—paying the price for sin. His resurrection proves victory over sin and death.
We believe salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith in Jesus—not something we earn. It involves turning to God and trusting Christ alone.
We believe those who are truly saved are kept secure by God’s power. Our confidence is in what God has done, not our performance.
Jared and Kylynn have spent more than half of their lives all over the world, but God brought them together in Southern California. As they both grew up in missionary families across Europe and Central America, they each embraced diverse cultures from a young age.
Now, living in Los Angeles, they see the city’s incredible fusion of people and cultures as a mission field waiting to be reached with the life-changing hope of the gospel. Their shared passion of living for Jesus and making Him known throughout this city and the world has united them in their call to church planting in Los Angeles.
In the last decade of serving and leading various teams, including Student Ministry in the east side of the San Fernando Valley at CityLightLA, God has prepared their hearts in specific ways and affirmed this calling through the preaching of His Word, divine circumstances, counsel from mentors, and confirmation in Scripture.
We’ve seen God do incredible things in our lives, and we anticipate even greater things to come!
